Your 3 step process to longer drives, lower scores, and feeling your best!

   1. Asess, Don't Guess

Your body tells the story—we just need to listen. Our unique assessment combine the Titleist Performance Institute Assessment, blended with a clinical evaluation, and 16 point swing analysis. This process pinpoints exactly how you move and what’s holding you back, so every step forward is intentional.

2. Plan with Purpose

Generic programs don’t cut it. Based on your assessment, we craft a customized plan that builds mobility, strength, and power where you need it most

3. Play Without Limits

This is where the work pays off. With your body optimized and your plan in motion, you’ll swing faster, move better, and play longer—with confidence in every round.

Game changer for my golf and my body.”

“I’ve been struggling with low back pain for years, and it always got worse after a few rounds of golf. After starting The Performance Caddie’s monthly program, I can honestly say I feel better than I have in a decade. Within 6 weeks, I was hitting the ball 15 yards farther, and I can now get through 18 holes without pain. John’s approach is different — it’s not generic fitness, it’s built for golfers. I only wish I had found this sooner.”

The Experts in Golf Performance, Rehabilitation, and Injury Prevention

Trusted by Nike World Headquarters

At Nike World Headquarters, I built and delivered a golf performance program that served more than 5,000 employees, entertainment artists, and Nike-sponsored athletes. This unique role gave me the opportunity to blend performance training, injury prevention, and golf-specific fitness into one of the largest and most diverse athletic populations in the world — an experience that now fuels the foundation of The Performance Caddie.

Every golfer has different needs — whether it’s adding distance, improving mobility, or coming back from injury. Our coaching programs are tailored to your swing, your body, and your goals. With a personalized approach built on biomechanics, strength training, and injury prevention, you’ll get the exact roadmap you need to unlock your best golf.

Physical Therapy & Injury Prevention

Pain and injuries don’t have to keep you off the course. As a Doctor of Physical Therapy and TPI Certified provider, I specialize in helping golfers recover, rebuild, and return to play stronger than before. Through individualized treatment plans that address your specific limitations, we focus on restoring movement, reducing pain, and preventing future setbacks — so you can get back to enjoying the game you love.

Meet The Founder

Hi, I’m Dr. John Leidholt, founder of The Performance Caddie. I’m a Physical Therapist, Biomechanist, Certified Strength Coach, and TPI Level 3 Certified Medical provider with a passion for helping golfers play stronger, longer, and pain-free.

As a former college athlete who overcame injuries, I understand the importance of training smarter, not just harder. My career has taken me from Nike World Headquarters, where I built a golf performance program for 5,000+ employees, athletes, and artists, to Callaway Golf, where I used 3D Motion capture to study and optimize golf performance.

I’ve worked with everyone from professional athletes and CEOs to weekend warriors, blending rehab and performance to help players gain distance, reduce pain, and stay on the course.

My mission is to help you unlock your best swing — pain-free, powerful, and consistent — so you can enjoy the game for years to come.

See what clients have to say...

- John D

“Six months ago, I could barely walk without knee pain after surgery. Today, I crossed the finish line of a 5K—something I never thought I’d do again.”

- Brett H
